BIO
Born in Washington state in 1989, LJ Polmateer has spent the last 2 decades honing his skills and ability to smoothly blend the easy going, feel good vibes of acoustic style reggae with rock, hip hop, & a little blues sprinkled in to create a unique style of his own that nicely compliments his pleasant vocals.
LJ has lots of live performance experience, playing several shows per year that include a well balanced mix of covers and originals. Mostly solo acoustic performances, with his drummer (Cotey Fondren) playing the hand percussions from time to time. In 2017 he branded his artist name “One Soulution” for his craft. “One Soulution” being misspelled to include the word “soul” because “There’s only one solution to all the negativity and hatred in this world. That solution is love, love is the only solution, which lies within your soul. We’ve all got it, we just need to open up and spread more of it”.
With Bob Marley being one of his largest influences, (along with Jack Johnson, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Dirty Heads, Rebelution, Stick figure and many more) it’s easy to say that his passion is infectious & spreading love and joy is clearly one of the biggest aspects of the music played and created by LJ.
